The Month of December 2024 might have provided the shortest list of dope New Soul Albums/EPs released however there were certainly some dope music projects that came thru. There was a good selection of Christmas/Holiday Themed projects and also a couple Deluxe Projects with new tracks as well as a few totally brand new traditional RnB/Soul projects. We got new Projects from Elmiene, SZA, Chris Rob, Mario, Misa Rai, IMVA, Diggs Duke, Oliv Blu and more. We also saw the official DSPS release of SAULT's newest AMAZING Album "Acts of Faith" which originally released back in July of 2024, so I didn't include it on this official December list (since its on our July list) but I also didn't want to exclude it from this post, because I feel like a lot of folks might have missed this release back in July. So you'll see it at the bottom of this list, but make no mistake it is one of the Best Soul projects of the year, it's just now on DSPS. Anyway, check out my full list of the Best Soul, Vocal Projects for December 2024 below in rank order from 1 thru 12, I usually post at least 14 releases but there were really not a lot of new releases in December that I heard of, so the following is what I felt was good. All of these Albums/EPs are available on tradtional digitial streaming platforms like spotify, apple music, Tidal etc., except for two releases which are currently on bandcamp.
