The 1st month of 2025, January saw some really cool New Soul, Vocal Projects, that I had no idea was coming. Most of these artists I was pretty new to as well. But that’s what's fascinating about curating these “Best Of New Music Lists”, I get to learn about a variety of Artists and their awesome art presented through their brand new music. The month of January provided that exceptionally, similar to other months in the past. For the month of January, we got a variety of dope new Soul Albums and EPs from Artists like Charlie BeReal, Cymande, Iniko, Nali, Journey Montana, Otis Kane, RED Hands, Rumer, Charles Wigg Walker, Tommy Francisco, Justin Garner, Yufu, Eugenie Jones, The Weeknd and more. Below you will find my Best Of Soul Rank list in order from 1 thru 24. Also I added some instrumental projects that came out last month below. All of these Albums/EPs are available on traditional digitial streaming platforms like spotify, apple music, Tidal etc.
