"Break is Evita Koné's highly anticipated first solo EP. The project is an exploration of what it means to break old habits and observe oneself in a new light. Working with Christophe Calpini and finding a common sound was part of the process of duality and harmony, tied together by their mutual friend Zacharie Ksyk on the trumpet."
